Job Summary

Our motto is “Every Day Made Better”. We assist new and existing customers with their swimming pools, hot tubs, and Big Green Eggs. The position is for inside retail sales at our West Little Rock location.

Responsibilities and Duties

In order to maintain and promote the highest standards of customer service,

Townley sales personnel will:

Have the ability to lift up to 50-70 lbs.

Arrive on time for each scheduled days work. WEEKEND WORK WILL BE EXPECTED.

Greet and Service customers with enthusiasm, recognizing that they have high expectations of our Company.

Never speak negatively of our competition.

Never speak negatively of any co-worker in the presence of customers.

Utilize proper telephone etiquette.

Conduct timely and effective follow-up in response to customer and prospect inquires.

Utilize good judgment in satisfying customer service requests or complaints.

Call upon the Company’s vendors and their representatives when needed, to satisfy specific customer service problems.

In order to accomplish sales/profit goals, sales personnel are expected to:

Maintain the Retail Showroom in a manner that promotes a clean and orderly environment for sales.

Be knowledgeable of the information communicated in all current retail sales promotions, advertising campaigns, and customer mailings being offered by the Company.

Price and sell products as directed by the owners/manager.

Continually improve sales skills and product knowledge utilizing the educational tools available.

Utilize the water analysis lab and related computer software to assure the proper application of pool and spa chemicals for the customer.

Properly assist the customer in recognizing the need for ALL products and services designed for the convenient use, enjoyment, and longevity of their pool and or spa.

Input, into the computer, all retail sales transactions in the sales history file of that customer.

Provide the customer with accurate information on the use and application of all products sold and serviced by the Company.

Utilize the “slow times” for lead follow-up, showroom/storeroom stocking and cleaning, promotional planning and preparation, and any other details associated with the efficient operation of the Store environment.

Sales personnel are expected to continually educate themselves about the industry, products, services, and marketplace by:
