Steak and Bleu Cheese Pizza
August is the month to try something new! Give this amazing Steak and Bleu Cheese Pizza a try on your Big Green Egg!
Ingredients
1 – 7 oz Pizza Shell – pressed out round
3 – 4 oz Alfredo Sauce works very well
1 ea – Steak of your choice grilled medium, rested and sliced thin
1 ea – Vidalia Onion Sliced thin and caramelized
1 ea Container of Bleu Cheese crumbles
Instructions
Egg Set-Up: Conveggtor, Grill Grate, Pizza Stone, Wedges – 475-500 degrees
Peel, Pizza Cutter
Lay your pizza dough on the peel. Use a little parchment paper on the peel so everything slides off easily. Spoon a little of the Alfredo Sauce on the dough. Add your Caramelized Onions, Steak, and crumbled bleu cheese. If you are using BGE Pizza Wedges or closing the dome, watch for possible hot spots and rotate if needed. Approximate cooking time: 10 minutes.
