Instructions
EGG SET-UP:
Indirect 450°F with the convEGGtor and EGGspander
TOOLS & ACCESSORIES:
convEGGtor, EGGspander, Pizza Stone
ConvEGGtor Setup:
Start by placing the ConvEGGtor with the “legs up”. This will create a barrier between the direct heat and your pizza, preventing the crust from burning.
Grill Grate & Pizza Stone:
Next, add the stainless-steel grill grate, followed by the pizza stone on top. This setup allows for even heat distribution.
EGGspander:
Add the elevated sliding cooking grid, with another pizza stone. This provides more cooking surface and helps manage your temperature.
Temperature Control:
Aim for your EGG temperature to be at 450°F. This is key to cooking the pizza evenly. Higher temperatures can lead to the stone getting too hot, causing the crust to overcook while the dough remains raw in the middle.
Monitor:
Keep an eye on the pizza as it cooks to ensure its browning evenly. You might need to rotate it halfway through for even cooking.
