Donut Burgers
Have you heard of Donut Burger? This simple concoction uses our favorite, donuts, with the traditional burger! What could be better?
Ingredients
2 lbs. ground beef and bacon
6 slices of bacon
6 glazed donuts
Instructions
Set the Big Green Egg for direct cooking without a convEGGtor at 400°F/204°C; add the Cast Iron Plancha Griddle to the EGG to preheat.
Form the beef into six – ⅓ lb. patties and set aside.
Add the bacon to the plancha griddle and cook for 2 minutes. Place the patties on the cooking grid. Cook for about 5 minutes and flip. Cook for another 5 minutes and remove the patties and bacon from the EGG.
Once the burger patties are cooked, lightly grill the donuts on the cooking grid; cut the donuts in half. Place one burger patty on a donut half and top with a piece of bacon. Add your favorite condiments and top it off with the remaining donut half. Enjoy!
